Wonderful book! A great way to teach children (and adults) about former South African president, Nelson Mandela, while also providing an overview of the historical and contemporary South Africa.
Loved sharing this with our granddaughter. This inspiring story is told in a way that young children can begin to learn about this amazing individual.

I actually brought this book for my mom and she loved it. I noticed my mom would pick up childrens books and so when Mandela passed I wanted to get her a book about him. I went directly to Amazon and found this book which I gave to her for Christmas and she really loves it.
