Trouble with the Billionaire: Ashley’s Billionaire, Book 3 is written by Christine Kersey. This book is quick and easy to read. The characters are realistic and the situations they get into are definitely realistic.Ashley and Colton Drake have broken their business relationship and are now just dating. Colton couldn’t keep his mind on his business with Ashley as his assistant. She was just as glad not to be his assistant and got another job, this time in her marketing field. The first day on the new job, she met Ethan with whom she would be working. He immediately began flirting with her. She just took it in stride and went on with her work. On the second day of her job, Colton came to take her to lunch and saw Ethan’s face and knew he wanted to be more than a co-worker with Ashley. He already had to contend with her possibly liking Jonathan and now Ethan! As Colton begins to feel the barbs of jealousy, Ashley is getting ready to finally meet Colton’s new assistant, Jasmine. She is gorgeous and reminds Ashley of Colton’s ex Rachel. Jealousy hits in moments. The fact that Colton didn’t mention that Jasmine went along on his latest trip to Chicago doesn’t help. In a fit of madness, Colton and Ashley agree to date others and break up. How will they survive without the other? Will they get back together? How?The book is a great pick-me-up when things get stressful.
I have loved all 3 books of this 4 book series. The characters become so real to you when you read this author’s, (Christine Kersey) books. It’s hard to put her books down because you get so wrapped up in them in what is going and going to happen next that you can’t put them down.This book is the continuance of Drake and Ashley’s relationship and their growing love for one another. It takes awhile for them to get there, to admit to one other their true feelings,, but they do eventually get to that point. Now that they have come to the point of expressing their true love to one another, I can’t wait to read about their next stage of life with one another. You really do need to start with book 1. There are just 4 books. You get so involved in your reading that you can get through them rather quickly. Just be prepared to have nothing else to do because you will not want to stop reading.
Few of us are so comfortable in our own skin, that we don’t consider the effect our words have on or relationship or what is going through the other person’s mind. Think of all the misunderstanding and out right lies and deceptions that could be avoided if we were mind readers…But it wouldn’t make for as entertaining a story either. Another fun read. This is my honest, voluntary review of an advanced reader copy of this book.
Ashley and Drake go through some rough times because of their jealousy. They love each other, but Ashley doesn’t trust Drake (a Billionaire), whose used to dating lots of women. Drake doesn’t trust Ashley with Jonathan or a co-worker. They finally talk and let each other know their true feelings.
This was fun to read kept my attention wanting to see how Drake and Ashley were going to get through all the problems. I don't want to give away the ending but was very happy they finally seem to be on the same page and were talking. Can't wait to read the final book in this series
I am so glad I have been able to go through Ashley’s story as she deals with her love for Drake and her insecurities due to jealousy. This is written in such a way that you feel like you’re living it with them. We all deal with our own insecurities and Christine has done a great job bringing real life to this story. This is my honest opinion after receiving an ARC.
Loved this book. Ashley and Drake have their share of bumps in their relationship. Fun to see how they work through them. Really enjoyed the banter between them in this book. And the Truth or Dare game. Easy. Quick read. Canxt wait until Book 4
This book showed how men and women think. There are some vital lessons taught through the story that showed honest emotions and how to deal with them. I was impressed by how authentic the author was. FANTASTIC read!!
