I bought this book for my daughters birthday as part of a larger birdfeeder and seed gift. She loved it. She especially loves the fact that you can look up a bird by it's feather color.... Red, yellow, black....
We find this book very handy when trying to identify birds we see in our yard. Good quick reference guide.
It doesn't have hawks, which I have in my area so was disappointed they were't included. Very nice pictures of birds to easily identified.

Very nice introduction to bird watching for the Midwest. Well made book, my toddler has got ahold of it a few times and didn't tear the pages out.
